View, process, and edit texts or keywords in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean languages. Integrate the assistant with commonly used system tools and office suites to enable the typing and recognition of characters, add extended support to browsers like Chrome and IE, etc.
JStar Communicator is a very useful and convenient shareware utility for Windows. This program is designed to help us input words in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) languages, without the need of installing extensions for the above-mentioned languages. We can input CJK characters in our English (or other languages) applications such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, etc. This program installs itself as two toolbars, one at the top, and one at the button of our desktop (we can move them afterwards). From the bigger one, we can enable/disable the program, access a soft keyboard, send an e-mail, change the language, and options, print, manage phrases and pinyin, and most important, input the string in whatever language/code we have selected. From the smaller toolbar, we access our Internet Explorer or Firefox browser and search the web in Japanese, Chinese, or Korean; and visit CJK websites (news, business, top-ten, etc.), change the language, change the languages codes, and access NJStar programs (Chinese Word Processor/Japanese Word Processor). NJStar Communicator also features a mini SMTP server and a Universal Code Convertor. It is possible to evaluate the trial version free of charge for a whole month. NJStar Communicator runs under all language versions of the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows Vista, XP, 2003, 2000, ME, 98, and 95.
